WIT is seeking a driven and passionate individual to join our Operations team as a Case Manager in NYC. This entry-level role provides the opportunity to work with a wide variety of technical and industry experts. This is an extremely exciting opportunity to learn about the expert witness consulting industry from world-class professionals. Our Case Management team works with our recruiters to identify and place expert witnesses for our law firm clients to support their position in high-stakes, complex litigation and grow our affiliate network.
The ideal candidate has an engineering or science background, is analytical, excels at complex problem solving, enjoys a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and holds core values that are essential to WIT’s success and culture including strong ethics, collaboration, commitment to quality, and passion for success and growth.
Compensation: $75,000 – $85,000
Primary Responsibilities:
- Research and communication to engage in the identification, vetting, and retention of academic and industry experts.
- Identify potential expert candidates to fill specific client needs.
- Work closely with our operations, sales, and marketing teams to identify and recruit diverse expert candidates who are in high demand for our clients.
- Manage communication with experts by email, phone, and video.
- Interview experts for general and specific roles.
- Provides database support to the operations team, including maintaining company CRM (Customer Relationship Management), conducting background checks, reference checks, and accurate record keeping.
- Perform special projects as assigned.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or Physics required.

- Possesses a high aptitude for conducting detailed research using CRM, Lex Machina, and additional legal databases. Training on these systems will be provided.

- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and handle sensitive/confidential matters with discretion and professionalism.
